Live from the Kennedy Center in Washington DC

The Millennium Stage series at the Kennedy Center hosts daily Internet broadcasts.   I recently participated in one of these broadcasts as a member of the Michael Feinberg Ensemble.   The other performers are Tivon Pennicott (sax), Julian Shore (piano),  and Michael Feinberg (bass).   The first number is one of my own compositions, entitled Jack Bauer.

Daniel Platzman Quartet

My quartet, featuring Alex Wintz on guitar, Joe Santa-Maria on sax, and Julian Smith on bass, performs regularly in NYC.   Each show includes at least one world premiere.  Our most recent performance took place at the Tea Lounge in NYC.

The Composers' Workshop is dedicated to creating a diverse collection of original music.  We performed recently at the Williamsburg Music Center in NYC.

Story Time

Story Time is an experimental group, dedicated to telling stories through the majesty of improvisation.   A popular feature of our live performances is to solicit story suggestions from the audience and create a musical narrative on the spot.   We perform occasionally in NYC.
